I’m Dr. Rhonda Stockman, or Ronni as most folks call me. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a were-hawk. That means I can change into a hawk any time I want to. Whoa, before you go thinking this is all super cool, let me tell you, it’s not all sugar and sweet tea. For those of you who want to know how this happened to me, that story is told in The Vampire’s Lair. This one:
So, if you haven’t read that one yet, grab a copy and find out how I became… well … me. Okay, the real reason I’m here today is to tell you the rest of the story, what happened to me after I became the were-hawk, is about to be published. Very soon now you will be able to get my story and the story of Igor, the young Russian were-wolf. Oohhh I’m getting so excited… Here’s a little peek at what’s coming in the new story.
Clara sighed again and looked at her hands. “I’ve been studying your DNA,” she admitted.
“I’ve found something strange quite active in it. I’ve only ever seen it before in Torvil and the vampires. The werewolves don’t have that marker.”
“Clara, what are you trying to tell me here?”
“I believe you’re immortal, like the vampires, Ronni. You’ll never grow old, you’ll revive if killed, and all injuries will heal at super speed. I believe you’re immortal and indestructible.”
Rocked back by that announcement, Rhonda swallowed hard and looked at her friend with wide eyes. “Are you certain of this? Of course you are, or you wouldn’t have said anything. Wow. Holy shit. Wow. So, now what am I supposed to do? Clara, why did you even tell me this?”
Okay, it’s Ronni again. I can’t tell you more right now or I’ll get in trouble.
