Today I want to say thank you for helping to make SUVI my most successful book to date. Thank you for the support, thank you for the help, and to those of you who took the time to read and review the book, a double thanks. Yes, even to the guy who gave it a two star rating.
SUVI was one of those books that demanded to be written. I sat up late to write, got up early to continue, and couldn’t truly rest until I’d told the story. Well, the beginning of the story, there’s lots more to come. (Book two is well under way.)
Now, for the rest of you beautiful people out there, if you haven’t already read and reviewed SUVI, here’s where to find her:
SUVI e-book and more
So, once again a huge thank you to you all, and keep your eyes open cause I’ll soon be telling you about some other great authors, plus there’s a new Lady Hawk adventure on the horizon. (yes, and a new SUVI story too.)
Wow, just wow. I am so excited about this one. SUVI is my latest book, the first in a new series, and by far my best work yet. Okay, I’m hyped about this one, pleased as punch at how it came out. Check this out!
Enslaved as a child, her DNA altered until she was barely half human, Jeannie Sorenson still managed to engineer her escape back to the ship that brought her to that deadly planet. Could the humans accept her now that she was half alien? Could she learn to interact with them and still retain her freedom? And why the hell did they keep asking her for answers when they didn’t want to hear them?
Get your copy now, folks, you won’t be sorry. (Can you tell I love this story?)
Okay, I’ve been promising a newsletter and it will happen this week. We’ve finally got everything compliant with the new rules, and the site is now a secure site, so we’ve had our shots, it’s safe to take us home now.
Well, I’ve teased you long enough. The last tale in the Children of the Goddess series is now available. Even a goddess can make a mistake, overlook something important, and the repercussions of that can be all encompassing. Worse yet, when the gods make mistakes, it’s we poor humans who usually suffer the consequences.
Now, as the darkness falls, the children of the goddess, the enhanced warriors of justice, must face that possibility. Find out what happens here:
I will admit, writing this one took the starch out of me. It was a roller coaster of emotion from the beginning, and even I didn’t know how it would end. So, get your copy today, see what all the excitement is about.
Oh, keep an eye out for a newsletter coming soon, sign up for it below.
I believe that ordinary people are capable of remarkable feats. I’ve always believed that given the right circumstances people can tap into the well of limitless possibilities. I saw this more than once as an athlete and coach many years ago. I’ve seen it more recently through the anecdotes people post on social media.
Despite this, we are all inundated with negativity and bad news stories every day. And this has seeped into entertainment as television series have become darker, filled with tragedy and angst-ridden plots that drag on season after season.
This is not my idea of entertainment and I’m betting it isn’t yours either. I want to offer you something different and invite you to find out more about me and the stories I tell….
For example, this, my latest book:
Now, here’s what a couple of folks think of my storytelling.:
Great addition to the Children of the wild series. I was hoping you would add an herbivore (that’s not an insane elk) to your were family. What a fun story. Please keep them coming.
Keep putting out the children of the wild series love them. Ronnie and Igor are great along with Derek and Jillian. It’s nice to see the other characters as well. Can’t wait to see what comes next in the wild series and I have no problem recommending this book to my friends.
So, my point is, there’s a few folks out there who like a story with a more upbeat ending. How about you, do you prefer happy endings, or do you prefer dark and foreboding cliffhangers? Drop a comment, let me know what you really like.
Well, my last post gave you an idea of what was coming. Now you can see for yourself. Deliberate Love is here, and here’s how to find it. Give it a read and let me know what you think of the whole concept.
So, there we are, the second of the (self-help) books. hehehe
On to other news, we’re hoping to have a new installment in the Children of the Wild series soon. I’ll keep you posted on that.
So long for now

Words can have a great deal of power, and words well written even more so. I try to use my words to entertain, to carry the reader from this world of stress to a different world, give them an adventure, take them away for a few hours. Sometimes I get it right, and sometimes I don’t. This time I think I got it right. I know each person experiences a story differently, and that experience can be good or bad. Here’s a couple of reviews of The Oregon Incident which tell me that, in these folks opinion, I got it right.

I’ve got to say this one brought tears to my eyes, yes cried like a baby, but it’s such a good story. Book five is just as good as the other four, great characters and the new characters are just as interesting.
What a great series

This, as all the rest of the Children of the Wild, was a great story. Familiar characters and new characters all blending into new experiences. Lady Hawk is turning into a very strong character in her own right. This story brings Mobutu’s actions back into focus. Touching once again with the atrocities of his madness and bringing the wolves & vampires to the front defending themselves and the humans.
Get your copy today folks, cause I’m already working on the next book in the series. Remember to drop a comment and sign up for the newsletter. This will enter you for the chance to win a spot in the next book of the series as a character.

TTFN, enjoy the book.
I’ll tell you where it began, and how, but it was long ages before she arrived here in our midst. The blood drinker, vampire. How did she become what she is, how did she get this way? It was a collision of events, and against seemingly impossible odds, it happened. The first immortal was created. It would be millenia before another appeared.
To get a small sense of the endless years, the loneliness, the hunger, the driving need for blood, you’ll have to read her story. Therein you will learn of how she came to be, and of how she managed to survive into this age. You will also get a glimpse of what it will take for her to continue to exist unseen, her and her offspring, for she is no longer the lone vampire.
Originally this was meant to be a stand alone book, but so many of you encouraged me to write more I did a sequel. Yeah, you guessed it, I’m currently working on book five of the series. We hope to get it out this fall.
So, go ahead, check out the woman from the distant past. Step out of this world and into another for a few hours, share the adventure with her.
Until next time,
I know, it’s been a while since I posted. Truth is, life got in the way and I didn’t have a lot to report. However, today, let me tell you a ghost story. High on a hill above the village where I grew up sat an old house. It looked over the whole village and the harbour beyond, the driveway was lined with maple trees. The house was occupied by an old man who passed away when I was a teenager. (Long long ago in a galaxy far far away) Every summer his grandson, a piper, would come to visit and greet the dawn with the pipes. I truly cherish the memory of that sound.
When I first began writing seriously, I wrote a romance story featuring the house and surrounding landscape. I also added the ghost with a bagpipe. The resulting book was called (of course) Ghost Piper. I self published it years ago. Recently we took it down, gave it a tune up, a fresh edit, and an awesome new cover. Here’s where to find it.
If you enjoy a gentle romance, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one. Go ahead, it’s a perfect weekend read.
Okay, now, for what’s new and coming up. We have a new book in the Children of the Wild series coming soon. I’m hoping to see it out by the middle of May. It’s got vampires, werewolves, werehawks, secret agents, and a bunch more of the strange and unusual. Next post I’ll give you a peek inside the pages.
So for now
