Today I’ll give you a bit of background about how SUVI came to be. I’ve had the idea of Forgotten Worlds in mind for years, The Elvish Chronicles were my first foray into that idea. In that series the humans have managed to survive and thrive, but have fallen back into a Medieval world which they share with other species. You can find that series and more here: All the good stuff!
In SUVI, I took a different approach. Here the humans weren’t able to survive the harsh realities of an alien planet with any success. The planet’s indigenous species have driven the humans underground and also mutated several of them. In this reality, the last of the humans are saved by the great ship that brought them to the planet, or are they? Find out here:
This was one of those books that demanded to be written. I awakened in the middle of the night with a voice in my head. The first two chapters were written before I was allowed to sleep. I love it when a story grabs me like that.
I’ll sign off for now and get my butt back to work. I have another Children of the Wild story to complete.
