More on Nova Series

Hi folks,

Well, here I am again with more on the Nova Series. Last time I told you about how it all began. Today I’ll tell you about the Assassin of Nova.

The Novan Witch had sat on the shelf for a few years and I finally decided to write the sequel. As usual when I decide to write a sequel, it all went sideways in a hurry. I began writing a story I called Brenna. I wanted to feature Brenna in the second book. I thought that by throwing her into a situation without Arlessa to protect her, and pitting her against a mad assassin I should get a great story. And so I set to work.

I had half a chapter written when the assassin took over. “Hey, I’m not the bad guy here, I just want a bit of justice before I die.” Once again I handed the story over to the characters and let them tell it. “Okay, big guy, what’s your story and why are you trying to kill Brenna?”

“I’m not, just listen.” Okay, delete everything and start over letting Rathbone tell the story. Part way through Keira shows up and says, “I like this big lug. I think I’ll keep him.” Shocked the heck out of me, but I just write the story, the characters dictate it. Anyway, once I let them take over it rolled along easily and Assassin of Nova is the result. Personally, I really like the story. So, here he is:

Okay, next time I’ll tell you about Beyond Nova. That one was a cool story.

I know I’ve been somewhat missing from social media lately. Been having some computer problem that are driving me crazy. I should have that all under control in a week or so. Meanwhile, I’m working on another story in the Children of the Goddess Series. Keep an eye out for that one.

Oh, more big super delightful news. Many of my books, especially the newer works, are now available on Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Itunes, 24Symbols, Inktera, and Scribd as well as Amazon and Create Space. If anybody wanted to drop a review on any of these sites for me I would truly appreciate it. Check the books on this site for the links.

Remember, if you have questions feel free to ask.
