For the past couple of weeks I have had my head buried in rewrites and proofs, but I am thrilled with the results. My books are getting a new cover, edit, and are appearing in paperback as well as e-book formats. Here are three more and where to find them:
Keep a look out for more next week. I’m also working on some new material which will appear in a few weeks if all goes well.
This past couple of weeks haven’t seen a lot of new material written, perhaps a thousand words or so, but I do hope to up that game a bit in the coming weeks. I’ll keep you posted on how that is going.
Meanwhile, my ribs are starting to mend nicely. Life is good.
May a rain of blessings fall upon each and every one of you in the coming week.
Okay, I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been out of touch for a while. 2014 was a challenge for me both physically and emotionally. However, it is gone, 2015 is here and I get a chance to start over. So, that said, on with the resolutions.
1. Considering all the angry and upset people I saw, doing and saying mean things, leading up to the holiday, I vow to be different. I will judge my worth by how many people I can lift up as opposed to put down.
2. Spend more time enjoying the people closest to me, those who lift me up when I fall.
3. Clean up the mess I’ve made career wise and get things back on track.
So, about #3. Last month I offered up the first chapter of my next book. Sadly, all you got was the last few pages of the chapter. That has been rectified and now the whole chapter is here: http: www.prudencemacleod.com/p/devil-comes-home.html
Also the name of the book has been changed (again) to Hell Comes Home.
Also, you were promised Blue Rider, the sequel to Old Family Mansion, last year, but that didn’t happen. Look for it this spring.
The plan is for an additional three or more novels before the end of the year. Wish me luck.
Speaking of luck, my wish for you all is that 2015 becomes your personal lucky year. May a rain of blessings fall upon you.
Sorry I missed posting last week, but as they say, “Life is what happens while you make other plans.”
However, we’re back on track this week. So, with that in mind, here’s what’s new for this coming week.
We are ready to release Dark Traveler at last. Our cover artist wasn’t able to meet the deadline, but our magical editor has managed to create a cover for the book. I think she’s done a fine job. So, here’s the cover.
Sometimes the thing you fear most is the one thing you truly need. Dale, a young thief on the run is surely in need.
This is an adventure story set in a medieval world. Dale is a transgender teen trying to survive on his own.
Look for Dark Traveler to appear in the next few days. I will post again when it goes live.
ROW80 check in:
I have to confess I haven’t written a thousand words in two weeks. Sigh. Life sure can get in the way sometimes.
So, here we go again. I am going to shoot at four thousand words this coming week. I also want to get Dark Traveler up in time for the Transgender Day of Remembrance.
Well, that’s it for me this time. I will post again as soon as Dark Traveler goes live.
